Hey I’m Alison. I live in Middle Tennessee with my husband, daughters, a cat and a goldendoodle. Our girls joined our family through domestic adoption. In this season of life I spend lots of time in car rider lines. I also manage the complex care of our younger daughter who has multiple disabilities and medical needs. I love to be creative - photography, music, design, writing - depends on when you ask as to which one is my favorite. I consider myself a self-taught tech geek, but I traded in my digital calendar for a paper planner so I can use colored pens and washi tape to make it cute. I’m usually behind on laundry and have trouble answering the “what’s for dinner?” question on most days!
Professionally I have a diverse background - non-profit grant writing, marketing and fundraising, running a full-scale wedding photography business, sales & fashion retail to hit the highlights! This year I saw a need I could fill in the marketplace. I wanted a way to “do what I love” and use my creativity as part of my work, but needed something flexible enough to allow for the times my daughter’s medical care is more intensive, or to take a break when she is in the hospital.
In business or in friendship, it is likely that I love you because Jesus first loved me. I do not deserve it, I don’t have it all together nor will I ever claim to, but praise God for His faithfulness to send Jesus to make a way for me. I will do my best to treat you with love and kindness.
“Put on then...compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching in all wisdom singing songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:12-17
